Hyperion is developing a Strauss song cycle, although it is piano
accompanied.

My favourite CDs of Strauss orchestral songs are Iokoski, Lott (mid price
Chandos CD incl VLL) and, if you can find it, the radiant command of
Christine Brewer BBCSO/Weller (BBC Music Mag CD)
