Someone recently gave a great analogy....promoting these formulas with extras as promoting immunity is like Coke adding fluoride to their products and claiming that they are good for dental health. One of the reps came to visit to share "the news". It is being promoted as healthier for the GI tract - the rep did say that it was designed to promote gut flora that is similar to the breastfed baby's (don't get me started). I, of course, questioned her appropriately, and I'm still waiting for the research to back out that claim (!). Also, they will be adding this new product (forget the name) to all the new baby "gift bags", so we'll all me seeing the product soon. It comes with a green label - I already forgot the name.
