Concerto Takes Manhattan III Piano Series Continues on February 11 at The Piano Salon at Yamaha Services Inc. The Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council and Yamaha Artist Services, Inc., will present the third concert of their 2007 Concerto Takes Manhattan III concert series on Sunday, February 11 - 5 PM at The Piano Salon at Yamaha Artist Services, Inc., 689 Fifth Avenue, 3rd Floor in New York City. This will be the third of a series of two-piano concerts celebrating the piano concerto, featuring 29 world acclaimed pianists performing over 30 concerti. Concerti are performed with a second piano playing the orchestra reduction. This program will feature Rachmaninov's' - Concerto No. 4, Op. 40, performed by Theresa Kim, soloist, with Konstantin Soukhovetski, 'orchestra', Scriabin's Piano Concerto in F sharp minor, Op. 20 with Eleni Traganas, soloist and Michael Berkovsky, 'orchestra' and Tchaikovsky's Concerto No. 2 in G Major, Op. 44, Jerome Lowenthal, soloist and Igor Lovchinski, 'orchestra.' Jerome Lowenthal has distinguished himself as an artist of rare musical vision and integrity.
