I am about 150 miles south of Robert and broodlessness is a rarity in  
established queenright colonies.  I treated a nuc with oxalic solution a  few days 
ago by assaulting sealed brood with a hive tool before applying  the solution 
which I made up to the recipe on Dave Cushman's web site.
