Linda Hill states, "I would encourage everyone to not let this get you too
upset! There is NO WAY they could keep the wording of the SoP as is! It is
absolutely absurd!"

Linda,
We MUST get upset and we MUST let them know how we feel. If we sit
idly by and let them realize the error of their ways and assume "they have
received so many e-mails already, mine isn't needed" then we will be saddled
with a ridiculous Scope of Practice that will set us up for more litigation
than we can handle!
Please, IBCLC's, whether you are nurses, doctors, LLLL's,
dieticians, social workers, moms, please, sit down and send them an earful.
They will NOT change the scope of practice until they realize that we are
ALL upset, angry, intolerant and ready to allow our certifications to lapse!
Pardon me, I need to step off the soap box, my knees are not as good
as they used to be and it is sometimes very painful to step down from
something so high!
