Argentinean Pianist Mirian Conti in Concert at Merkin Concert Hall on June 15 - Featured Works Include Three World Premieres and Argentine Piano Music Argentinian pianist Mirian Conti will be in concert on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 8 PM at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center, 129 W. 67th St. in Manhattan. This performance will feature World Premieres of new works written for Ms. Conti by Benjamin Lees and David Winkler as well as the World Premiere of the solo piano version of Sonatina by Spanish master Ernesto Halffter and works by Alexander Scriabin and Frederic Chopin. The concert will also celebrate the release of her new Albany Records CD Looking South, with solo piano selections by Argentine composers Julian Aguirre and Juan Jose Ramos.
