We have had GP's who knew less about allergic reactions to bee stings than most of the local beekeepers. One other thing to add to this very good post- Change your bee clothes outside and do not store them in the house. Also, do your own laundering of the bee suit. The less you have your family members come in contact with the stuff you bring back from the bee yard, the better. They can develop allergies to bees and bee venom and have dangerous reactions to bee stings.
