I was just informed that the use of cabbage leaves on engorged breasts was
no longer encouraged because of an increased risk of growth of lysteria. I
know lysteria grows in soft cheeses and some procesed meats, but I have
never heard of an association of lysteria and cabbage leaves.
I was told that this was considered a dangerous practice. Has anyone else
heard this?
