For more information, go to: >http://www.lsoft.com/LISTSERV-powered.html Dear Barbara, I am a lactation consultant in Honolulu Hawaii with the Kaiser Permanente Health Care System. I have a patient who was recently diagnosed with autism. The child is almost 3 years old and the mother breastfeeds at least 4 or more times a day. The mother now wants to put the child on a diet of glutein free/casein free and she wants to go on it herself. I am concerned about the lack of calcium in her diet but that can be substitued in pill form. I have read at Autism Net for Dietary Intervention that human casomorphin is similar to casein in other mammals. What has your research and investigations shown? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Pat Bilyk *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(R) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
