Hello, Our recent work at Ft. Henry National Historic Site, Kingston, Ontario has found scattered remnants of its two PoW internment periods (1914-18 and 1939-45) but there is lots of historical data in our Parks files and the Ft. Henry archives. If you require any detailed information please give me a ring, Henry Henry Cary Parks Canada Archaeology, Military Sites Ontario Service Centre, 111 Water Street, Cornwall K6H 6S3 (613) 938 5974 [log in to unmask] >From: Al Tonetti <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY <[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: WWII home front POW camps >Date: Thu, 20 Jan 2005 14:40:14 -0500 > >Seeking references and/or contacts for archaeological investigations of >WWII >home front POW camps for Axis powers prisoners.
