The recent discussion on a bracelet or other means of keeping track of which side to use next, or how often one has pumped makes me grateful that I'm now nursing a verbal toddler and have stopped pumping at work. She simply tells me what side she wants! She actually very sweetly says "all done - other side" and pulls my bra flap shut before flipping over to the other side. I am so pleased to have such a polite nursling this time around! I have found this stage the easiest in my breastfeeding career - much easier than dealing with a newborn, or a young baby dependent on my pumping output during my crazy work schedule! I think the keeping track of number of times pumped idea may be helpful for my 2 friends who are exclusively pumping for sick babies, though.
