Other "blind spots", anyone? Yes I have a few - much of Bartok and Prokofiev for example. But what still surprises me, after more than fifty years of being obsessive about music, is how few my blind spots are. I enjoy almost all works by almost all composers. I could attend symphony concerts and recitals at random and without fear of boredom. This is not true of novels, poems, plays or paintings, and least of all of films. Music is different.
