Did you check the archives? I know there is little definitive informaton on
this regarding the state of lactation but in several cases similar to this,
that I've been involved in, the fact that these levels are elevated as a natural
state of pregnancy seems to shed some light on the situation. Dr Lawrence's
book has something on this, try the Center for Breastfeeding Information at LLLI
as well.
