I was *not* aware that my post went out to Lactnet and was carefully preparing one that was respectful and appropriate and studied and worthy of a lactation consultant. I have written it and re-read it for clarity and civility while still making my point . I will send it so that you can see what I want to say in a reasonable state. My statement that ,"I am venting to you because I don't want to be permanently kicked off Lactnet for what I would write there" is moot because I have violated Lactnet's courtesy guidelines. I haven't done this in a long time, but I have done it before and am always appalled. So I not only owe Barbara an apology--a big one-- but also all of the rest of you. I am ready for the scolding of the list mothers and anyone else who would like to do so. Thank you to those of you who alerted me to my error.
