It rocks. Works well by attaching the tube/funnel to a ring stand, then taping a candle to the ringstand rod. A couple of notes: This experiment can produce a fair amount of smoke, so don't do it close to a smoke detector. The paint can apparatus which Scott describes, below, is available from Flinn Scientific. He's right about not doing it too close to the audience, and a safety shield is probably a good idea, too.
