ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions. ***************************************************************************** The following web page provides technical information, including ceiling heights, for several of the exhibit galleries of the original Buhl Planetarium and Institute of Popular Science in Pittsburgh. Although traveling exhibits were often placed in any gallery that had space at the time, originally the "Octagon Gallery" was considered the traveling exhibits gallery. As Buhl's ceilings are all pretty high, this never limited the type of traveling exhibits that could be presented. In fact, once during World War II, a military aircraft was actually displayed in, what would later become, the "Hall of the Universe." < http://buhlplanetarium3.tripod.com/Buhlplansspecs.htm > gaw Glenn A.
