This is all well and good, but what if that brood
frame is full of honey, or has some brood in it? Do
you just take it anyway and melt it out?

Second, someone asked about how the season is going. I
only have two hives located in Batavia, Illinois, but
thus far, this year has been going gangbusters. The 3
pound package that I put on drawn comb already
produced 100 pounds and the hive that didn't die last
year produced 60 pounds, with about another 50 in the
supers but uncapped. It should be a record-breaking
year.
