Hello all,

I am happy to report that this mom is feeling better, thank to your
wonderfully informative responses.

Although they still do not know what is wrong, they are assuming the
"formula is not doing a d--- thing." She waited all day to hear from her GI
to call back then finally made the decision to "pop" Ellie on [after 3 days
of not nursing, just pumping]. She will be gathering a list of
nondairy/nonsoy things she can eat then shop and cook. She would love more
ideas on this. She is also waiting to hear from her family doctor to cut
down on prozac, wean off of it, or go on something thatwill be compatable.
She will also look into setting up a RAST test. When she does hear from her
GI, she will ask him about Pancrease, too.

She said, "The only thing on my mind now is why was Ellie still
uncomfortable when she was only drinking the neocate. I'm wondering in terms
of the Prozac. She wouldn't have had any from my milk for 4 days."

To this I repsonded that it may very well take weeks to have all traces of
the offeder gone from Ellie's system, whether it's the Prozac or the food
allergen. Four days may not be long enough to note change in some infants.

More input is welcome.

Thank you all!
