The Landmark on Main Street and Chamber Players International Present A Summer Solstice Concert on June 1 - Music of Vivaldi and Bach Celebrates the Seasons with International Soloists The Landmark on Main Street, in cooperation with Chamber Players International, will present A Summer Solstice Concert on Saturday, June 1, 2002, 8 PM at the Landmark's Jeanne Rimsky Theater, 232 Main Street in Port Washington, New York. This is presented as part of their ongoing Great Composers Series and is sponsored by Phyllis and Harry Manko. This fabulous evening will be a very special celebration of this beautiful time of year when the Spring transforms into the Summer. Vivaldi's timeless The Four Seasons will be presented in its entirety, along with Double Violin Concertos by the Italian Master and Johann Sebastian Bach. Soloists for this concert will be the internationally renowned, Russian-born violinist Mark Peskanov, Korean-born violinist Janet Sung and American-born pianist/harpsichordist Doris Stevenson, along with a string quartet that will accompany the performers.
