I often thought to myself, "Now, really, are ALL these babies truly having reflux issues?" My suspicion on this is right in line with yours, Johanna. I think all these meds are covering up other issues such as MER, oversupply, etc. In some cases that I witnessed, the meds didn't even do that much to solve the vomiting; but in the cases where the meds did help to minimize vomiting, you gotta wonder if your theory about overfeeding is accurate. I personally think you have a very good point. I wish our system of medicine was more about accurately understanding natural body functions and truly solving root health issues and was less about covering symptoms with pharmaceuticals.
