I think you are doing a great job with the baby who has a cleft. Take care
to make sure baby can handle flow of an SNS or fingerfeeder tubing because
this baby will be at high risk for aspiration. Probably this is just stating
the obvious.
Also, I think Barbara Wilson-Clay (and others) has some great things to say
about pacing such babies and stress cues etc which would be valuable with a
baby in this situation.
