I'm sorry, I don't understand the question. There are some musical pieces
that I use to reflect my sense of sadness, and then there are others that
I use for comfort. I'm not sure which you mean. When I want sad music,
I turn to pieces such as Messiaen's Quartet, especially "The birds". Also
sad movements from requiems, such as "out of the deep" from Rutter. On the
other hand, when I want to be comforted, I listen to happier pieces such as
the "in paradisum" from the Faure requiem, or other sacred choral music
that is comforting.

Does anyone know of resources about music therapy that they would
recommend? I've seen a few books, but I'm not sure which ones are best.
thanks.
