Diane W says,

<< Our family talks about being "mouth hungry" vs "stomach hungry". When
we're
mouth hungry, we go looking for some potato chips, or a cookie, or (I'm just
putting this in for the nutritionists among us) a piece of fruit. Not to
fill up, just to make our mouths happy. I think by nursing when they're
"mouth hungry", babies ensure that they never get dangerously "stomach
 hungry." >>
OK Diane, this is it. Absolutely IT! What makes you so incredibly wise?
You are, you know..... Drives me nuts when I read your mail (you and Barbara
W-C) and see that you are RIGHT. So....just....RIGHT ON.... Thank you
(again and again and again) for posting. I've missed you while you were off
Lactnet. I tell all my students in my 6 day course that you and BWC and KD
and a few others are a MUST READ. NEVER NEVER NEVER skip what they have to
say, I tell them.

And you've confirmed it once again.

Thanks.....

Jan B in gloomy, rainy and first-day-of-fall-cold Wheaton, who will be happy
to get to Scottsdale next week.
