Hello again from Norway,
In our ward, IVF is not a marker for BF problems. But infertility resulting from hormonal imbalances is distinguished from difficulty conceiving due to tubal adhesions, even though both may be remedied by IVF. I would guess that the problems are concentrated in the hormonal group, although that is only my educated guess.
Three mothers come immediately to mind-- two had IVF twins who were fully BF for the first six months, and the third had IVF triplets who also were exclusively BF for some time. Mothers of singletons do fine too. Sure, some of them have problems, but they don't appear to be any different from anyone else's problems BF.
