I recently talked with a mom who complained of nausea with nursing. I understand this can be a response (howbeit uncommon) to oxytocin release. Has anyone ever worked with this problem? How did the mother deal with it? Was she ever able to overcome it? It won't help with this mom who wasn't open to any suggestions, she was basically telling us she couldn't stand it any more and was weaning and that was that. (I'm not sure why she called to tell us that unless she felt she needed to justify her decision.) I would like some suggestions in case I run into this again. (And I thought that after 30+ years of working with nursing moms I'd just about heard it all.)
