Dear Ed: I'm glad you think that my idea of having a sort of "Current
Contents" of the bee related literature on BEE-L is worthwhile.

I think that citations should be in full, no abbreviations for Journal
names (they are so inconsistent and follow no set rules for decoding), and the
address of the author. I find the latter most useful in case I want to
follow up and it's interesting to know where our colleagues are
located.

I suggest a format as follows:
Name(s) of authors (all) with initials or given names. Year.
Title of the article
Journal (in full), Volume and pagination (first and last)
Address of Author #1, or where one can write for follow up.

I will do a few Canadian Journals, and some others.
I guess coverage will be a bit hit and miss at first, but as others
join in the fray, coverage should become fuller.

It would be nice to have abstracts, but that would be too time consuming
to enter them.

Cheers, Peter.
