Chamber Players International April 19 Concert at Kosciuszko Foundation
in Manhattan Features Music of Mozart, Richard Strauss and Theodore
Wiprud

Chamber Players International will present the second of a new series
of concerts on Sunday, April 19, 2009 - 3 pm at The Kosciuszko Foundation,
15 East 65th Street (between Madison and Fifth Ave) in Manhattan.

This program will include Mozart's Piano Quartet in g minor, Richard
Strauss' Sonata for Violin and Piano and American composer Theodore
Wiprud's Brooklyn Bridge Piano Quartet.  More about Mr.  Wiprud at

Chamber Players International performers will include Anna Rabinova,
violin, Qiang Tu, cello and pianist Tatiana Goncharova.

Tickets for the April 19 concert are $20.  A limited number of tickets

Anna Rabinova, a member of the New York Philharmonic, was the winner of
the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded
first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade.  As winner
of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed
Shostakovich's Concerto No.  1, with Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting.

Qiang Tu, also a member of the New York Philharmonic, has made extensive
chamber music appearances that have included performances with the group,
Elysium, at Weill Recital Hall and in Hawaii and Colorado.  He has
performed at chamber music festivals in Maine and Korea, and has appeared
with Lukas Foss in chamber works at Weill Recital Hall.  Mr.  Tu appears
frequently with the NY Philharmonic Ensembles chamber music series at
Merkin Concert Hall.

Russian-born pianist Tatiana Goncharova has performed throughout the
United States, South America, Europe and Asia.  Praised by the Philadelphia
Inquirer for her exceptional musicianship, Ms.  Goncharova has appeared
with various programs and ensembles at such noted venues as Avery Fisher
Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Kravis Center, Ravinia,
Caramoor and Philadelphia's Kimmel Center.  Visit her online at

Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and
