Hello, my name is Denise Parker.  I am new to Lactnet and
have so far found it fascinating.  I have recognized several
names as people I know and to you, hello.  To those of you I
don't yet know let me introduce myself, briefly.  I am IBCLC
and am currently finishing my bachelor's degree at Pacific
Oaks College and The Lactation Institute(LI). I am also the
Area Professional Liaison for LLL of Southern California/NV.

As part of my final research project at The LI I have been
doing a survey of mothers who have used a supplementer
device while solving a breastfeeding problem.  Finding
enough participants who used a supplementer system (any
brand) has been very difficult. Are any of you able and
willing to help me locate more subjects?  I am willing to
supply surveys that are stamped and ready to mail.  All that
will need to be done is to have the name and address placed
on the envelope and mailed.  When the survey is returned to
me there are no identifying questions that would compromise
confidentiality of the client.  The LC could even put in a
cover letter if she would like (I have included one myself
also).
Thus far the results are very interesting and encouraging.
unfortunately the numbers are too low to make any really
