I can't find the original post, but I have used Transpore, which is the 3M
plastic tape. Some people find the Micropore (paper tape included with the
SNS) a little annoying since it keeps coming off with the baby's saliva and
that the Durapore (silk tape) is irritating to some women. I worked with a
woman quite a number of years ago who used the SNS long-term and found the
Transpore tape the least irritating of the lot. Could this be what she was
talking about, not tegaderm?
