Well, I have to say I am mystified, sorry....it's known that
prolactin (especially in the early days) is linked with feeding
frequency, that it may have  a diurnal/nocturnal difference, and that
it zooms up when the baby is actually at the breast, and as Chris
reminds us, can be affected by physical closeness to the baby. What
would one single baseline reading tell us?

I may be missing something, as I say, as I have no experience of
mothers' hormones being measured in this way. Is there something you
can reveal to enlighten me?? : )
