I personally refer to it as cow's milk formula to show the difference to just
cow's milk from a jug.  I also say soy milk formula to show the difference to
regular soy milk.  I think when it is said all the way out instead of an
acronym it gives the full impression of what it is.  It is milk from a cow
processed into something supposedly for a baby.
