Hi Lactnutters,
Here's the gist of a flyer from one of the local breastmilk
substitute companies.... and you think you have trouble with "Peter
Rabbit". For those of you who may not know, Africa's "Big Five"
usually refers to an elephant, a leopard, a buffalo, a lion and a
rhinoceros. One side of the flyer has a picture of each of these
animals with a caption and the other side has the baby animal next to
a product with a bit more splurb.

No.1 - Elephant: Big at birth and needs a full feed to join the
stampede. The sleep-through formula for the big at birth and hungry
baby. Casein predominant starter formula. From birth onwards.

No.2 - Leopard: Closest to breast and is about to knock the spots off
the rest. Closest to breast milk for healthy growth and development
in full term babies. Whey predominant starter formula. From birth
onwards.

No.3 - Lion: An inverted 1,7 (?) and grows fast from cub to adult as
weaning replaces whining. Follow-on formula for all babies from 6
months onwards. Supports the rapid growth needs of babies during the
weaning process.

No.4 - Buffalo: Does not have wings, is growing up on healthy eating
habits. Nutritionally balanced fun shake for the growing up years.
From 1 year and upwards.

No.5 - Rhino: A problem feeder and hates his milk. For babies who
are allergic to cow's milk protein or who are lactose intolerant.
Free of cow's milk protein and lactose. All ages.

I wonder how the baby elephant, leopard, lion, buffalo and rhino
would cope if they were fed these formulas!
