Apropos of the Kathy Detwyler letter

My heartfelt thanks go to Debra Ravin of Pump Connection who "Snail mailed'
(as you people over there delightfully call ordinary mail} 8 pages of
references for my specific request about NICU.

While her mail was late for the last session I have been booked for two
more sessions in l998 and will have time to do lots of reading. Many of
the references were of help.

I HAVE A REQUEST FROM A COLLEAGUE

Does anyone know about tight wrapping of babies. Ie. is tight wrapping a
form of restraint in legal terms. I know there are many behavioural
disadvantages both in relation to breastfeeding and breathing. For some
cultures swaddling is ritual.
Swaddling tightly seems to be a settling trick fro some babies.

ANY thoughts welcome for my colleagues paper in two months time.
