"Go easy on the estrogen. Prolonged exposure to estrogen without a break
(due to pregnancy, breast-feeding or birth control, for example) makes your
more susceptible to breast cancer. You can lower your lifetime estrogen
exposure by shedding extra pounds (extra fat cells make extra estrogen),
avoiding menopausal hormone replacement therapy and consuming less red meat
and dairy (they may contain hormones, and their high cholesterol levels up
your breast cancer odds)."

I don't think they are saying anything wrong here.  I read it to say:
those who are never pregnant or who never breastfeed are more prone to
breast cancer because they never get a break from estrogen.  And that is
correct.  

What am I missing?
