Good news forst on my premie baby fron Brazil who developed bloody streaks
after two 1/2 weeks on 7/8 EBM 1/8 Enf 24 cal was also colicky but grew
like a weed clear skin clear bright eyes and otherwise doing well Baby was
on INH for mom's Tb reactive skin test. Every body negative for Tb no mpre
INH for babe or mom . Baby referred to GI specialist  for bloody streaks in
stools baby put on nutram- igen only ! mom pumping for 21/2 weeks,
Proctoscope negative, all x rays clean.....H & H good.

Sad news someone told her to nurse again and did not talk to her about
elimination diet for dairy, eggs, soy,& wheat.Except my original suggestion
weeks ago after they took baby off mom's milk already. so she apparently
went back to nursing Yeah ! but.......now we have bloody streaks again
so......peds GI said absolutely Baby to be on Nutramigen only, end of story
! oh well, mom was so wishing she could give her baby the best, she really
was determined but now no one from Wic can reach her and I haven't heard
from her (she used to call every day for support from us) the peds GI nurse
(who I faxed info to) says Doctor said "some babies just can't have their
mothers milk due to breastmilk colitis" period. she emphatically said "this
is NOT an allergy and elimination will not fix this ("GRAVELY ILL") baby my
quotes and sarcastic remark......I do not believe there are no other
options for this family I can't wait to seee how this baby tolerates solids
when introduced and if he has multiple  reactions they will probably be
blamed on the fact she breastfed.....I feel as though I am trying to stop
PLATE TECTONICS and if you hear of my demise it's because I have faxed all
kinds of new and (radical) thoughtful information to information saturated
practitioners WHO DESIRE MY ELIMINATION FROM MANKIND.  thanks for letting
me unload this mess I just wish I could help this poor mom "unload her
problems as well".....why do I feel as if "We" did this to her and now I am
trying to make amends.....Thank you to all who helped her with translations
