Janet: My understanding about storage of breast milk is that the
antibodies are preserved during refrigeration but that freezing kills the
cellular components. Despite this, even frozen breast milk still provides
far more protection and other factors which are not destroyed by
freezing, so it is still far superior to formula, definitely NOT on a par
