Is there a specific protocol for goat's rue during pregnancy for moms with IGT?

If so, is that altered at all or still appropriate for overweight moms with PCOS, gestational diabetes and/or (get ready) history of gastric bypass surgery?

I have two past clients who are both expecting their second baby. One has all of the above & was able to meet over half of first baby's needs for first year of life in spite of poor start, early supplementation & just waiting too long to get help.

The other mom only has gestational diabetes & had intermittent high blood pressure throughout 2nd & 3rd trimester, but had no breast changes & no linea negra during pregnancy. She produced next to nothing, but also had a poor start & didn't start using a hospital grade pump till about 2.5 weeks pp.

Would goat's rue be appropriate for them? If so is there a protocol to follow? If not what else could I recommend?

NICU is my area of expertise;-) Both of these cases were friends that I saw once & referred immediately to another LC. Now they are pregnant again & asking how they can prepare for a better experience this time around. They both already have copies of "Making More Milk"!

Thanks in advance,
