Seasons' Greetings Fellow Lactnetters !
An 'expensive' 2 day course on Feeding & Swallowing in Infancy :
Assessment and Management is being offered locally in New Brunswick in March
2000 presented by Robin P. Glass, MS, OTR and Lynn S. Wolf, MOT, OTR.
They are both pediatric occupational therapists at Children's Hospital and
Medical Centre in Seattle, Washington, where they work as clinical infant
specialists. They both also are NDT certified and have advanced
neurodevelopmental treatment training in feeding and infant treatment, and
are authors of the text "Feeding & Swallowing Disorders in Infancy "
---developed out of their years of research and clinical experience
treating infants with feeding and swallowing disorders.
Does anyone out there know if these persons are sponsored by a formula
company, or have any affiliation with same ???
I am considering attending, but I can't find out if they even encorporate
breastfeeding into this course as outline is 'sketchy'.
Has anyone attended and could enlighten us all on this subject, please ???.
Thanks in Advance !
Sincerely,
Barbara Montague, RN IBCLC
Saint John, NB Canada
