Hi, all.

I have heard many suggest CST as a useful tool for babies experiencing
latch difficulties or post-TT/LT clips, torticollis, etc. to help a babe
relearn/adjust their feeding skills. However, I've seen a lot of info that
denounces it a quackery and says it's not a science or evidence-based
practice. I know, though, that many in the U.S. denounce any
'anti-establishment/non-Western' methods as hokum, even though many people
continue to use them with successful results.

Can someone give me leads on good evidence-based articles or info from a
third-party (not the Upledger folks) that tell me where this originated, in
what science it's based, and for what it can be used? I'd feel a lot more
comfortable referring someone out for CST if there's evidence beyond what's
coming up in my generic searches, which is not what I would call favorable
from a scientific POV...

Thanks!
