I've had my say, but I did want to respond to <>.  At least in my case, I am
a MUCH better LC because I DON'T do everything.  I am free to concentrate and
study and be fanatical about just moms and babies and breastfeeding.  I don't
have to know about a million other things the nurses have to be competent in.
 For me, that's a distinct advantage.
