I like to combine sage and peppermint while many moms dislike the rather
strong taste of sage tea. I usually (so not in particular in this case of
Sara) start out with 1-2 cups a day (teacups that is, not measuring cups),
which is ab. 200-400mls. I only start sage tea if other management does not
work out as planned or for moms wanting to stop lactation at all and fear
mastitis during the process.

I think in the case Sara describes, sage might be started during labour.
Normally sage is a no-no for pregnant women, but I wonder if it will do mnuch
harm if labour has already begun? Perhaps the more herb-minded lactnetters
could clear this?
