I too feel a little "uncomfortable" when fathers call for info. I always
ask to speak to to the mom, I tell him that there are questions I need
to ask that only she will be able to explain the answer too. This
usually works.

But... as we have a fair amount of Asian Indians in our area, I have
learned that the dads always do the majority of the talking. It is their
custom. So I go with the flow with them. They usually end up putting the
wife on the phone anyway.......
