Cheryl,

I just had a Mom of a NICU baby with obviously bloody milk last week. She
continued to pump over the course of the three days she was here, and as the
volume of the milk increased, the bloodiness decreased, first from one
breast, then the other. I have not checked yet today to see if that
progression continues. Some of the NICU nurses had issues giving the
colostrum/milk to the infant, but as far as I know, she did receive all of
it. (Rusty Pipe Syndrome was my guess on this one.)
