Elizabeth, You are doing everything you can do to help this mother and
     baby.   It is unfortunate that the physician did not have all of the
     information, when the baby had a physical.  I hope you will be able to
     have a long term relationship with this mother and baby because they
     will need ongoing support and monitoring.  Since I have worked in
     public health many years, I can say that just being available and
     caring goes a long way.  Don't give up on this mom.  Gladys Mason
