I describe feeding cues and then tell the parents "at this point the baby
is asking politely, you want to reinforce that and not teach the baby that
he has to scream to get what he wants"  Response has invariably been
positive to this perception of hunger cues and meeting baby's needs.
Reduces the fear that the baby is trying to manipulate the parents.
