Dear Friends:
What an interesting idea. Jennifer, I hope you are keeping notes and
will publish on this.
As the mother of two children with hypo-motile guts, I have also noticed
an increase in the number of exclusively breastfed newborns I am seeing who,
simply put, can't poop. I have worked with 3 this year so far. I never had
so many before.
These babies are all growing, and have a obviously painful time passing
soft feces.
I have referred them to a local pediatrician who is also a classically
trained homeopath.
The practitioner treating my daughters feels that these GI problems are
related to pollution; if a baby grows inside a mother who is eating foods
that are polluted with chemicals and heavy metals, the baby will suffer.
    Interesting, and scary, notion.
I am not trained in the care of sick GI tracts; I use a local colon
therapist as well as the holistic practitioner for my daughters.
    warmly,
