    paroxetine:

paroxetine is  serotonin reuptake inhibitor. although it undergoes hepatic
metabolism, the metabolites are not active. p is excedingly lipophilic andd
distributes thoughout the body with only 1% remaining in plasma. in one case
report of a mother receiving 20mg/day paroxetime at steady state., the
breastmilk level at peak (4 hours) was 7.6 ug/L. while the maternal
paroxetine dose was 333 ug/kg. the maximun faily dose to the infant was
extimated at 1.14 ug.kg or 0.34% of the maternal dose.

pediatric concerns: although this produce has been occationally used in bf
and pregnant woman,. no reports of untoward effects have ben found
