The doctor is a surgeon (if my Spanish is correct) and has no
nutrition qualifications. His main publication (according to his
website) is this diet - which is not in any journal, and which has
therefore not undergone any of the usual peer review or assessment
processes. He lists no research interests apart from this one, and no
reports of the effects on infants, or any follow up on infants. He
says he has several other published articles, but gives no references
to them. I can't find him on PubMed.

He makes massive, non-scientific assertions - and all this would be
laughable if it did not appear he is in some sort of position of
power at his place of work. It seems his programme is already in
place there....a truly uncontrolled, irresponsible, possibly very
dangerous experiment with the health and life chances of newborns.

Perhaps his professional organisation could make him stop?
