Sadly, some people learn from their mistakes. My hope is that this woman
will learn from this and then encourage other women to stick with it. It
doesn't always happen, but still...

Also, if she brought up some of her concerns in your support group, others
may have benefited from your counsel.

This is a great question. Thanks for the suggestion.

This mom did decide to wean even though she claimed she felt  
"terribly guilty." Sadly, I think she will feel even more guilty when  
her life still does not go back to "normal." At our breastfeeding  
support group today my tip of the week was "When you have a baby  
Friday night is just another night of the week. This is temporary,  
but breastfeeding provides health benefits that last a lifetime."  
Both of those sayins were poached from my colleagues. But I think it  
says it well.
