This is a new one on me.

cause this baby to have these symptoms.?????????????? These were otc
vitamins.(prenatal)

Yes, I have seen this often. In fact when I have a mom call with a fussy,
gassy baby, one of the first recommendations is to continue the
prenatals--before going the diet route. And often the problem is resolved
within a couple of days.

I think that it is the ferrous sulfate (iron) that is the culprit. If baby
is taking vitamins with iron(because breastmilk is soooo lacking) I suggest
that she discontinue these also.

If mom is anemic I suggest using another type of iron supplement, one that
doesnt cause g/i problems.
